chad reisig
lead Pastor
In 2008, Chad quit his full-time career as a business executive to follow God's calling on his life. It was then that he went back to school to earn his second Master's degree. This time in Pastoral Ministry. In 2013, God led Chad to Southern Oregon for a seven-year stint as a pastor at a local congregation in the woods.. In June 2020 (yes, during COVID lockdowns) Chad felt God's leading once again, and came to serve as the Lead Pastor here at East Salem.
When Chad's not preaching or teaching, he also writes blogs, books, and has even dabbled in podcasting. If you want to check out some of his doings, head over to his website www.chadreisig.org.
Away from church work, Chad enjoys time with his wife and two kids, Megan and Nathan. There are also a couple of dogs thrown in for good measure.

debbie starr
office manager
Debbie is the glue which holds the church business office together. She faithfully answers every phone call, responds to dozens of emails per day, handles all the clerical work, prepares the bulletin for weekend services, and generally does awesome things. She also keeps Chad and Parker in line (which is needed).
